The patent's greatest advantage is its maximum variability. It is this feature which allows the musician to assemble his or her mouthpiece to his or her own needs. The no pressing system is most useful for teaching.
1. The CUP PART is manufactured with a choice of models with a regular or detachable rim.2. The BORE PART is interchangeable, with different sizes of bores available.3. The PRESSING SPRING is interchangeable and comes in varying pressures.4. The BACK BORE PART is also interchangeable, in this way solving the problem of connecting different sizes of mouthpipes (i.e. trumpet-cornet-fluegelhorn, or trombone-tenor horn-baritone horn).5. With the interchangeable FASTENING SCREW in a loosened position, the valve begins to work as pressing begins, the sound becomes airy, or the instrument remains mute. If the channels of air are unobstructed and the screw is well-fastened, the quality and clarity of the sound produced by the mouthpiece is suitable even for the most delicate proffesional requirements. |
Additional accessories: practicing back bore, fastening screws in differing sizes and weights.
I wish you much success and perseverence with the use of the mouthpiece!
